It's pretty stupid to sell out your intelligence ...

Erm, does anyone else see the folly of using private contractors to spy for the US military? This from the NY Times: U.S. Is Still Using Private Spy Ring, Despite Doubts

I'd say that's almost as dumb as using private companies to collect and count your votes for you (using non-transparent,proprietary software) if you want to have a true democracy. But I guess that's the mentality of the new United States, where our troops have been outnumbered by private contractors in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Makes you wonder if we aren't losing control of our country, doesn't it?
